Yasmina Benazzou’s international background has been the single most profound inspiration in her work. After a childhood spent in Morocco, Yasmina lived in Jakarta, Indonesia, before relocating to Paris where she studied fashion and accessories at the Ecole de la Chambre Syndicale de la Couture Parisienne. After years spent as a designer in Paris, Yasmina carried on her international experience and relocated to New York City. Fulfilling a dream, Yasmina started designing and crafting fine jewelry as well as studying gemology. Soon after, Yasmina created Haute Victoire. Being a Parisian at heart and New Yorker by adoption, Haute Victoire is about a conversation between the old and the new. In search of elements that inspire her, Yasmina incorporates her travels into her jewelry and creates from vintage and antique pieces, one-of-a-kind ethical jewelry. She also designs collections in 18k gold and mixes them with her one-of-a-kind and vintage pieces creating her own unique signature style of handmade fine jewelry. Her creations praise individuality, craftsmanship and sustainability. Haute Victoire’s fine jewelry is designed and handcrafted in NYC.
