ROBIN HANCOCK

Gemologist, designer, curator and purveyor of the extraordinary.

A native of Houston, Texas, Robin studied Sociology at the University of Texas. There, she became fascinated with the human desire for self-adornment and personal expression through jewelry that seemed persistent through time and across cultural context.

Upon graduation, she moved to London to study the history of jewelry at Sotheby’s under some of the world’s leading authorities, including Amanda Triossi, who she considers a career-shaping mentor.

Robin then studied gem stones at the Gemology Institute of America (GIA) in New York City and launched her professional career at Tiffany & Co. Robin worked for Tiffany, Sotheby’s and an independent estate gallery before moving home to Texas to start her own business.

Robin launched RSK Jewelry in 1999 to bring concierge-level service and fine jewelry expertise to Central Texas. Since that time, she’s developed a thriving business and developed a loyal base of clients across the country. Robin attributes her success to unmatched personal service, dedication to finding exquisite pieces and ability to bring joy to her clients.

Robin is a member of the Gemology Institute of America (GIA) and the International Society of Appraisers (ISA).
